Submit a decline request
Your participation in the Homeful program is completely voluntary. To opt out, please follow the instructions to submit a decline request below. Please note, only the current legal title holder of the property can opt out and submit a decline request. There is no obligation to pay the Endowment Contribution by the buyer upon the purchase of your home, only AFTER you are the current Homeowner and are in the process of selling your home. With this in mind, you do not need to submit a Decline until 5 days prior to when you close escrow upon selling your home. Should you still want to submit a Decline Request after you are the legal and current title holder instructions are provided below. Please have a copy of your recorded grant deed ready to share.
On the grant deed we will verify the following:
• The date the Grant Deed was recorded. It will show an instrument number and record date
• Your full name as the “Grantee” and current title holder of the property.
• ‘Exhibit A’/full legal description of the property.Fill out your contact information and be sure to provide an accurate email address as we will be responding to the email address provided. Conduct a property search. Our search engine is sensitive to street suffix abbreviations and directional values. Be sure to only input key words such as the street number or name only (ex.”123” or “Smith”).
• Fill in the decline request form below
• Upload a copy of your RECORDED Grant Deed. We need to verify you are the current and legal title - holder of the property.
• Click “Submit”Once we verify you are the current title holder of the property we will approve your request and a Decline Confirmation will automatically be issued to the email address you provided. Please retain the Decline Confirmation for your records and provide a copy to your agent if/when you decide to sell your property.
